In collaboration with the University of Tabuk, EEC’s National Center for Assessment is organizing a free workshop entitled “How to Choose your Major” on Tuesday the 22nd of Moharram 1440H. The workshop, which will be given by Dr. Yasir Abdulkareem Bakkar, will be held at Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Tabuk.
The workshop aims to familiarize participants with how to choose their university majors, which is considered an important life decision. The workshop also aims at introducing participants to scientific decision-making processes by addressing several aspects, including the basic principles of choosing a university major, recognizing personal interests and abilities, learning how to match university majors with interests and abilities to make the correct decision, and getting to know different university majors and the differences between them.
The workshop targets high school and preparatory year students to assist them in choosing university majors by providing them with scientific solutions to determine the most suitable major. Participants will be issued attendance certificates at the end of the workshop.
This workshop falls under the umbrella NCA’s social responsibility program, which contributes to the development of abilities, skills, education, and the society as a whole.
