A Mawhiba Test to Recognize and Direct Gifted individuals at the Appropriate Development Programs
Giftedness and Creativity Test Battery (Maw6hiba) contributes in recognizing talents in the Public Education in the fields of science and technology in order to ensure careful selection of promising students with talents and directing them to the appropriate development programs for them.
Mawhiba Test--which is offered in cooperation with King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (Mawhiba), the Ministry of Education, and the National Center for Assessment--is provided for students in the Public Education across the Kingdom for the students of the following grades: 3rd grade, 6th grade, and 9th grade. The students are nominated by the school, self-nominated, or are nominated by their parents.
Ibrahim Al-rasheed, Director of Relations, Media & Communications in Qiyas Center, has emphasized that the project aims to recognize talents in the Public Education in the fields of science and technology by utilizing an advance, scientific approach to ensure correct choice of promising, talented students. Thus, a national database of for all talented students would be built in addition to the contribution to the enhancement of the society’s awareness concerning talents and the importance of discovering them in order to enrich our sources of scientific research and the Arabic library in the field of recognizing talents.
The Director of Relations, Media & Communications has indicated that registration for the test is available currently at Qiyas’s electronic site
until Sunday, dating January, 25, 2017, as the test shall be held during the two days of Friday and Saturday, dating 17 & 18 of February, 2017. He indicated that the measurement is considered to be the second step in the selection form for talented students which was designed for the Kingdom. It permits students to enter the competition system at various developmental programs. It also aims to uncover the academic skills and capabilities residing in students in the fields of language, math, science, and some other creative aspects in various fields, sections, patterns, and images.
The Director of Relations, Media & Communications encouraged all nominees to enter and register in measurement in order to be able to compete for the various seats granted by Mawhiba or the Ministry of Education, which are reserved for the talented and the creative.
The Center offers all support services for the benefiting parties through the different means of communications; in addition, it answers inquiries and receives all notes at the unified number: 920033555 from 08:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. and through social media @QiyasOnline.
